Born in Germany, my artistic journey led me to Southeast Asia, offering a new canvas for creativity.
Inspired by vibrant cultures, my designs harmoniously blend traditional craftsmanship with modern aesthetics, balancing discretion and eye-catching allure.
My Southeast Asian experiences deepen my passion for weaving and traditional crafts, propelling a mission to reimagine those in contemporary contexts, challenging perceptions and highlighting versatility. Beyond aesthetics, my design philosophy prioritizes responsible material use and environmental sustainability, addressing industry concerns.
Collaborating with brands like Manutti, SKLD and Rosconi showcases my growth as a designer. Each project narrates a unique story, capturing materials, cultures, and emotions.
Behind Studio Robin Hapelt stands a dedicated team of designers and project managers, based in both Cologne, Germany, and Bali, Indonesia. With product development in Cirebon and Semarang, the studio realizes both furniture and interior projects, combining global influences with local craftsmanship. This international setup allows for a seamless approach to design, making Studio Robin Hapelt a strong partner for projects worldwide.

Showcasing my work on an international stage, I have exhibited at Salone del Mobile Milano, IMM Cologne, Orgatec Cologne, and Passagen in Europe, while also expanding beyond with Bintaro Design District, IFEX Jakarta, and Hong Kong Design Week. My designs and interior projects have been featured in publications such as Wohn Revue, Wohndesign, and Ideat, as well as newspapers in Cologne and Interlaken.
With each exhibition and publication, I continue to merge diverse influences, creating designs that connect cultures and aesthetics.
